I was struck watching the coverage of this criminal defendant going to jail yesterday how full circle the news media has become.
It started with OJ… the Bronco chase!

Two bit celebrities .. who happen to also be murderers and insurrectionists .. hanging on to their fame by being filmed in cars with the law on their tail.
One fleeing the law… the other hoping to further obliterate it by being reinstalled as the President of the United States.
Continuing to treat them as celebrities with nonstop coverage just makes it easier for them.
Anyway, I remember when I was rehearsing “Les Mis” John Caird said the show really boils down to 3 different views of God.
Valjean believes in a forgiving God.
Javert in a vengeful God.
And Thenardier believes in no God. No morality. No love. Nothing. No right and no wrong. No joy. No happiness.
I thought that was so interesting at the time.
Thenardier sorta slips away at the end of “Les Mis”… with a big fuck you to the world and no resolution. No punishment. No justice.
The 🍑 Thenardier got arrested for the fourth time last night.
That’s exactly where he belongs.
In a jail cell….with the smell of piss in the air…the same piss his cultists sprayed over the Capitol floor as they rioted during his coup.
We have all been so debased, and so demoralized for years now by this failed game show host that I think even Valjean would be thrilled to keep him in jail.
There’s no forgiving… well, I think there is.
By forgetting.
The Thenardier Fan Club will do their best to wreak havoc.
I look forward to the day he’s forgotten.
I wound up playing Javert on Broadway… his undoing was an act of forgiveness and kindness.. Javert just couldn’t compute that and took his own life as his only way out.
But, if he was dealing with tRump, he’d just keep him where he belongs.
In jail.

There really is a right. And a wrong.
Lock him up.
